“Popped in for a cocktail or two on the hottest day in history. Had a quick pint to cool down then had my favourite cocktail - the gimlet. The man at the bar (the owner?) then served me a cocktail I’d never had (I asked him to surprise me - always a risk). One “bitter sweet symphony” later and this is my favourite cocktail bar around here (albeit it’s the only one I’ve tried). Lovely place. Friendly man behind the bar - knows all the classics and very knowledgeable. I can hear him know telling other patrons about all the drinks. Well recommended. I think I’ll be here tomorrow and the next day too.”
